Who we are

CKSHORTS LLC, doing business as CKSHORTS CONSULTING (“CKSHORTS,” “we,” or “us”), provides business research and administrative support. For questions about this policy or your information, email hello@ckshortsconsulting.com.

Information we receive

When you contact us, we may receive your name, email address, company, selected service, deadline, message, and any information you include in your email. When you complete a service questionnaire, we receive the answers and any documents you choose to upload. If you become a client, we may also receive engagement, billing, project, and communication records needed to provide the agreed service.

Our website host and service providers may process technical information needed to operate their services, such as browser and connection information. This site loads Google Fonts; visiting it may connect your browser to Google. We do not currently use a site advertising pixel or a separate analytics script.

How we use information

We use information to respond to inquiries, assess whether a service is a fit, prepare quotes and agreements, perform requested work, communicate about an engagement, maintain business records, protect our services, and comply with applicable obligations. We do not use an inquiry as permission to enroll you in a marketing mailing list.

Forms, email, and service providers

The general consultation form prepares an email in your own email application. Its contents reach us only if you send that email. The four service questionnaires are hosted by Tally, which processes submissions and any uploads before making them available to us. Our email provider and website host also process information needed to deliver those services. Each provider's own privacy terms may apply to its handling of information. We may share information with professional advisers or other service providers when reasonably needed for our business, and when required by law. We do not sell submitted questionnaire responses or client documents.

What not to submit

Please do not send passwords, Social Security numbers, payment card details, bank account numbers, medical records, or other highly sensitive information through our website, email inquiry, or Tally questionnaires. If a project requires sensitive material, contact us first to discuss a suitable transfer method. Tally's published rules prohibit collecting certain confidential information through its forms.

Security and retention

We take reasonable steps to limit access to information and use it for the purposes described here. No email, upload, or online system can be guaranteed completely secure. We keep inquiry and client records only as long as reasonably needed for service delivery, business records, dispute resolution, or legal obligations, then delete or deidentify them as appropriate. Copies held by service providers or in backups may remain for a limited period under their practices.

Your choices and requests

You can choose what information to submit. To ask about, correct, or request deletion of information you provided, email hello@ckshortsconsulting.com. We may need to verify your request and retain information when needed for a current engagement or an applicable obligation. If a privacy law gives you additional rights, we will address qualifying requests under that law.

Other websites and updates

Links to Tally or other websites take you to services with their own practices. We may update this policy as our services or information practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
